CRM Integration

The connection between an AI voice platform and a Customer Relationship Management system such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

CRM Integration is the technical connection between an AI voice platform and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system — such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, or Microsoft Dynamics. Integration allows the voice system to read customer data and log call outcomes in the CRM in real time.

Data Flows Enabled by CRM Integration

  • Inbound: AI voice agent looks up the caller's record (name, history, account status, pending issues).
  • Outbound: Voice platform logs call results, sentiment, disposition, and next steps back to the CRM contact record.
  • Workflow triggers: Call completion triggers automated CRM workflows (send email, assign to sales rep, schedule follow-up).

Business Impact

CRM integration eliminates the need for agents to manually enter call notes. The AI captures the conversation, extracts key information (intent, outcome, next action), and updates the CRM automatically. This reduces ACW (after-call work) and ensures records are always current.

Security and Compliance

CRM integrations must enforce API authentication (OAuth), encrypt data in transit, and audit all data access. Healthcare organizations must ensure CRM integrations meet HIPAA requirements (BAA in place, PHI encryption).
